Every year, our team hosts several different trips to China. We offer two different kinds of trips ranging in time and purpose. Come and serve with us in China and see what God is during here first-hand. It is our goal to use these trips to challenge your idea of missions in China and open your eyes to the true need.
Mission Trips are our ten-day short-term trips for churches to come and get a vision for the work of God here.
Internships are our six-week, six-month, or one-year program that allows college students to come and learn China missions first-hand.
Each of our trips have different requirements but we are willing to work with you or your church to help customize the trip for maximum benefit. Please contact us for more details if you are interested in any of the above trips.
We want to invite you to consider taking a short-term mission trip to China. We can help your church plan a trip or an individual can join a trip that is planned by the missionary. Our short-term trips usually run for 10 days and cost $2,300 (approximately).
The purpose for these trips are three-fold:
Vision: We want you to get a vision first hand. We try to communicate the need through our blog and prayer letters but some things are hard to communicate. We want you to feel, smell, taste and see China. We know that your eye will affect your heart and we want you to be affected. We want to open your eyes to the true need of China and implant a vision for the work of God here.
Ministry: We want to open the door for you to be involved in ministry. Even though you don’t speak Chinese there is a small door of opportunity for you to use your English and help us reach out to College students and students of English. Not only that but you can help through flyer/tract distribution.
Encouragement: We want to be an encouragement to the church and families who partner with our ministry and give them a chance to be an encouragement to the missionary families. It is like a reverse furlough and allows us to have fellowship and be encouraged by those from our home country.
Serving as an intern for Project China is a six-week, a six-month, or a one-year commitment that has two main purposes: (1) to have an active, valuable function in disciple-making ministry, and (2) to pursue a greater understanding of church-planting missions. Service and study. Accordingly, all the activities of an intern serve to further one or both of these goals. Some of those activities include:
Language School: Interns will complete at least ten hours of formal Chinese language classes a week, working toward a foundational mastery of pronunciation, grammar, and conversation
Church Ministry: Interns will attend multiple church services weekly and will serve in various capacities as their abilities and the needs of the churches intersect
Bible Studies: Interns will be led through the process of starting their own small Bible studies with interested contacts, explaining the Gospel and helping to establish new believers
Campus Relationships: Interns will spend large amounts of time on college campuses, especially in organizations like English corners, where they will develop new contacts
