Our philosophy of discipleship focuses on the four following areas: Private Ministry or the “Be” level: This is the “real you” that absolutely no one knows except you and God. It is your character. It is the very basis or foundation for all that you can ever be or do in the Lordʼs work. It starts at salvation and continues as God transforms from the inside out by the engrafting and washing of the word. Personal Ministry or the "Do" level: This is the “you” that people see. This is how you act in public. This level can be faked or adapt and adjust to the situation you are in at least for a time. It is being good stewards of all we have been entrusted with (Gospel, finances, creativity). It is the practical part of the “Be” level. Public Ministry or the "Serve" level: This is the “you” that serves in the church or ministry. This is how people might know you at church—pastor, SundaySchool teacher, usher, Missionary, Church Planter, etc. It is being willing to meet the needs in the ministry big or small. Every disciple should have a ministry and all have their part to play in the body. Priority Ministry or the "Train" level: This is the “you” that teaches others also. Your goal from the beginning is to get them to full maturity in Christ. That means that they too will learn to train others in the service of the King. It is teaching every member of your church to train others to serve God. It training someone else to do your job, training leaders of leaders. Philosophy: Be, Do, Serve, Train |
