Henry Baptist Church – McDonough, GA

We had a great time Friday through Sunday at Henry Baptist Church in McDonough, GA with pastor Archie Norman.

  • It was great to be apart of their 2010 Missions Conference – “The Time is Now”
  • I was given 15 minutes to present and show our DVD on Friday, then I had the privilege of speaking in one of the adult Sunday School classes on Sunday morning, Natasha spoke in children’s church during the AM service, and finally we spent some time with the 11th-12th grade guys at lunch Sunday afternoon.
  • Our host family was great! They let us stay in their bedroom, which is always humbling, and took good care of us. Thanks!
  • Saturday night we had an international banquet at the church.
  • It was good to have another one of the students I’m teaching this semester come to one night of the confernce.
  • Each missionary gave good presentations, the music was awesome, and the church family had a heart to see more souls reached with the gospel!
  • The Lord blessed and the church was able to raise about $62,000 to help build an orphanage for one of the missionaries in the Ivory Coast! Amen!
  • The conference ended with the church laying hands on us, praying over us, and letting us know that they foresee partnering with each one of us, Lord willing!

Thank you Henry B.C. for the opportunity to present, teach, the meals, the gift card, a place to stay, and a very generous love offering. We look forward, Lord willing, to being your representatives in China!
